For final, our assignment is to create a short film incorporating some of our vfx skills.

Our final assignment is called:

MIRROR

- a short film about two girls travelling into fantasy world that have different kind of places.

So, we start off with a storyboard,we discuss the whole story and we separate the part to 5 scene, and each of us got one scene and have to draw the storyboard for the scene that we responsible for..

The Storyboard that we have come up with

The scene that I responsible of is the first scene until they when into the portal scene and also when they coming back to real life..

and we have to change a bit during filming..

I have to put some effect on this scene like light flashing and transition etc..

Chapter 1: Character Silhouette

First, we learn about character silhouette

1. We have to create any random shape or any shape that first

represent a silhouette

the silhouette doesn't have to be perfect at first..

2. After that, we enhance the shape, using tools that can be found in

Flash Pro , for eg, I'm using eraser to shape my silhouette into proper

shape, and this is the part where we touch up the shape

CHAPTER 2: CHARACTER SHAPE STUDY

We have to create our own character and also doing a shape

study on them. It can be various shape and sizes and various 

character can be create. So, using Flash Pro i've come up with a few..

Chapter 3: Character Style

For this exercise , we have to do research about character style and
maybe get some inspiration about the style that we chose.

and then I came up with this sketches of my character

 5 characters( 2 main characters, 3 subs character)

Chapter 4: Costume and Colour Study
After, I finished the character sketches, I move on to their costume study and also colour study for their costume

After that, I picked the costume that i prefer for each of my character and perform a colour study on it.

Then, I have to pick the best colour and I do a costume study..

CHAPTER 5 :CHARACTER POSES
We have to draw action poses for the characters
2 for main characters, one for sub characters

CHAPTER 6: EXPRESSIONS

We have to draw at least 5 expressions for each main characters

FINAL ASSIGNMENT

For final assignment I created a new different character and all of the other stuff..just

for variety..:)
