FINAL ASSIGNMENT

For our final assignment we 

have to create our own character that 

must be non-human

The references that i used to create my character:

And i've come out with this character

Step taken:

1. First I sketch the character

2.Then i draw the outline make it more

tidy

3. After that, I applied the base colour

for my character

4. One by one, i paint it, I add texture to the clothes

and also for the wing and hair,I also used brush to make texture and by adjusting the shadow and i do a little bit of detailing.

Some of the texture I used:

 

The same step is used to create the back 

view of my character and also the action pose.

I also create a whole background for my character,the 

environment that he lived in.

 Step taken:

I resized the character first,then i started to do the

foreground and middleground, and I go straight ahead

and do the detailing.

I also changed the colour saturation ( Ctrl+u) of the foreground

and middleground, and after that I continued to add the

middleground part.

and lastly, for the background, I started with a base colour

and I started adding details until I finally satisfied.

STEP TAKEN:

1.Sketch the environment, just a simple sketch

2.Add-in the base colours

3.Open a new layer, and place texture (eg: rock texture,wood texture)

4.Adjust the opacity

5.Open a new layer above the texture and paint the object that have been wrap with the texture

7.Do this with every single object in the drawing

Most of the painting is made using the same step

STEPS TAKEN:

1. Arrange the building, i used vector building that can be download online, arrange accordingly

2.After that, paint the building according to their position, the foreground must have the darkest colour and going lighter, as you can see the first group of building is black and the statue behind it is dark blue

3. The farther the building the lighter the colour as shown, after the dark blue, i used blue and then slightly light blue and lastly lighter blue

4. Lastly, i painted the sky dark indicate almost night time and about to rain and i painted the water with blue-greyish colour

JUNGLESCAPE

STEPS TAKEN:

The steps taken to created the junglescape is the same as townscape, instead using the vector, like in townscape, for the junglescape I painted the tree myself
